Network Solutions Caught Front Running!

This is why you should not necessarily trust the 'big guys' when deciding who to buy domains from.

Network Solutions has been caught buying the domains you are checking! When you check to see if a domain is available, Network Solutions records it. If you do not register it right away, they reserve it! This means you now have to buy it from them or wait 5 days and is called Domain Front Running

As one commenter states, "This is front running.". They may not make money off the reservation but most people will want to ensure their domain is registered. Instead of being able to use your favourite registrar and pay $9 or so, you have to pay Network Solutions almost $35 if you want it right away! Crazy and immoral!
